Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and OneCut ("OneCut", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of getonecut.com and its related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are a minor under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must also meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements of every third-party platform you connect, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law.

3. Description of the Service

OneCut is a multi-platform short-form video service. You upload a video once, optionally use our AI tools to generate clips, captions, and titles, and then publish or schedule it to the third-party platforms you connect — currently YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, X, and Threads — through each platform's official API. The Service also offers a link-in-bio page and basic performance analytics. Features, supported platforms, and usage limits may be changed, added, or removed at any time.

4. Accounts and Registration

To use most features you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account.

5. Connected Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with independent third-party platforms — including TikTok, YouTube (Google), Instagram and Facebook (Meta), X, and Threads — through their official APIs. These platforms are not operated by or affiliated with OneCut. Your use of each platform is also governed by that platform's own terms and policies, including, for TikTok, the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and, for YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google APIs Terms of Service. By connecting a platform, you authorize OneCut, within the OAuth permissions you explicitly grant, to publish only the content you choose to your own accounts on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with each platform's rules. We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party platform, including changes to its API, downtime, or the rejection, demonetization, or removal of your content, and we may suspend a platform integration if that platform requires it.

6. Your Content and License

You retain all ownership rights in the videos, images, text, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content and that publishing it through the Service infringes no third party's rights and violates no law or platform policy. You grant OneCut a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, edit, create derivative clips and captions from, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service, including delivering it to the platforms you select. This license ends when you delete the User Content or your account, except for content already published to third-party platforms and for backups retained for a limited period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, distribute, or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or harmful; that violates the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others; that constitutes spam, malware, or deceptive activity; that harasses, threatens, or promotes hatred or violence against any person or group; or that violates the terms, policies, or community guidelines of any connected platform. You also agree not to misuse the Service or its APIs, including by reverse engineering, scraping, circumventing usage limits or security measures, or interfering with its operation. We may remove content or restrict access for any violation.

8. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments

The Service offers a free tier with usage limits, paid subscription plans, and one-time credit packs for AI features, processed through our payment provider (Paddle). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid for subscriptions and one-time purchases, and any credits already consumed, are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the "OneCut" name — is owned by OneCut or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. Except for this license and your rights in your own User Content, no rights are granted to you, and you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to that processing. The Privacy Policy is available at https://getonecut.com/privacy-policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that AI-generated output will be accurate, or that any content you submit will be successfully published, accepted, retained, or monetized by any third-party platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneCut and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OneCut and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law, any third-party right, or any platform policy.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if a connected platform or applicable law requires it, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and the license you granted us in your User Content terminates, subject to our Privacy Policy and to content already published to third-party platforms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

15. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Terms with a new "last updated" date or by notifying you through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OneCut regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
