OneCut is a multi-platform video distribution tool that lets you upload a video once and deploy it to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and X simultaneously. AI generates platform-optimized titles, captions, and hashtags for each platform.

What video formats are supported?

OneCut supports MP4 and MOV formats, up to 500MB per file. The resolution and length should be compatible with all 5 platforms (vertical 9:16 recommended for Shorts/Reels/TikTok).
How are AI captions generated?

Anthropic Claude (via OpenRouter) analyzes your video title and content body, then generates platform-specific text. YouTube gets SEO-optimized titles, TikTok gets hooky one-liners, Instagram gets emotional captions, etc. Outputs Korean, English, or Japanese based on your language setting.

Which platforms support auto-posting?

YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels all publish fully automatically. For TikTok you pick the privacy level and post settings at deploy time. Snapchat and Naver don't allow auto-posting, so we provide manual share links.
Why can't I connect Instagram?

Sign up without a card, make 3 shorts free, and publish them to your real channels. If you like it, pick Starter ($5.9/mo) or Pro ($13.9/mo). Paddle handles billing; Korean customers are charged in KRW.
Can I post to multiple accounts on the same platform?

Currently OneCut supports one account per platform. Multi-account support is on our roadmap.
What happens when I disconnect an account?

Clicking "Disconnect" on the Connect page immediately revokes the OAuth token. OneCut can no longer access that platform. Previously deployed videos remain on the platform as-is.

How does paid billing work?

Pick a plan and Paddle handles billing (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc). Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles all tax compliance. Billing is in USD. Your 3 free shorts need no card, and nothing is ever charged automatically until you choose a plan yourself.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Click the "Manage subscription" link in any Paddle billing email, or go to Dashboard → Plan → Manage subscription. Cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid further charges. Payments already processed are non-refundable.
Technical & security
Are my passwords safe?

OneCut never stores your platform passwords. All connections use OAuth, and only access tokens are stored (encrypted) in Supabase.
Where are my uploaded videos stored?

Videos are stored in Supabase Storage, in folders separated per user. Row-Level Security policies ensure only you can access your own videos. You can request file deletion anytime after deployment.
Can I close the browser during deployment?

Yes. Deployments run on Inngest's background workers, so closing the browser won't stop the upload. You'll get an email notification when all platforms finish.
How do I request data deletion?

Send an email to getonecut@gmail.com with subject "Account deletion request" from your registered email. All personal data and video files will be deleted within 30 days.
